Hi All,
As many of you are aware of, we can Record the permissions in NAV 2016.
I have explained the process below. I have logged in with User having Super Permission.
1) Open Permission Sets Page from search window and click on New.
Give the Name for Permission Set. Below I have given it as RECORDED
2) Click on Permissions it will open a new page and to start the recording process click on Start as shown below
3) For test purpose I have created a Vendor and a Purchase Order. You can do all the transactions specific to a user. After that please click on Stop to stop the recording.
4) Now you can see all the permissions recorded by system for Vendor creation and Purchase Order Creation as shown below.
5) You can also include/exclude permissions from other roles by using Include/Exclude Permission Set as shown below.
6) We can also auto add read permission for a related table. Keep the cursor on the table for ex : Vendor and click on Add Read Permission to Related Tables.
7) Now we can assign Permission Set by User. Below is the screenshot of the Matrix of Permission set with all the users.
